Face Masks

Face masks provide an instant boost to your skincare routine by delivering concentrated ingredients that hydrate, plump, brighten, calm, and soothe the skin. Regular use of facial masks can help improve skin texture, boost hydration and enhance overall radiance. Whether you're looking for deep hydration, soothing relief, or anti-aging benefits, incorporating a skin mask can elevate your skincare results.

The ideal frequency depends on the health of your skin, your skin type and the type of facial mask you’re using. Hydrating and soothing sheet masks can be used daily or as often as your skin needs, while detoxifying or exfoliating face masks should be limited to once or twice a week to prevent irritation. Always follow product recommendations to achieve the best results.

Yes! There are facial masks designed for every skin type and skin concerns. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, opt for a hydrating face mask with ingredients like hyaluronic acid. Oily or acne-prone skin benefits from face masks containing ingredients such as tea tree oil which helps to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation. Sensitive skin types should look for gentle, fragrance-free skin masks with calming and soothing ingredients such as centella asiatica. If your skin concern is aging, choose face masks with anti-aging ingredients such as hydrolyzed collagen.

Selecting the right face mask depends on your specific skin needs:

• Dry or dehydrated skin - Hydrating skin mask with hyaluronic acid such as our Plump and Hydrate Daily Sheet Masks.
• Oily or acne-prone skin – Calming and soothing sheet masks containing anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as tea tree oil found in our Calm and Soothe Daily Sheet Masks.
• Dull skin - Face masks containing skin brightening botanical ingredients such as rice formulated in our Calm and Soothe Daily Sheet Masks or hydrating and plumping ingredients such as hyaluronic acid found in our Plump and Hydrate Daily Sheet Masks.
• Sensitive skin - Soothing skin masks with calming ingredients like centella asiatica contained in our Calm and Soothe Daily Sheet Masks.

A skin mask should be applied after cleansing but before moisturising. This allows active ingredients to penetrate deeply without any barriers. After removing the facial mask, follow up with your favourite INSKIN.CO corrective serums and hydrator to lock in moisture and maximise benefits.

The recommended time varies based on the type of facial mask. Most hydrating or sheet masks should be left on for 15–20 minutes. Always check the instructions on your skin mask for best results.

Some face masks, like our Daily Facial Masks that offer hydration, plumping and soothing benefits can be used daily.

It depends on the type of face mask. Clay or exfoliating skin masks should always be rinsed off, while hydrating or sheet skin masks often contain serums that should be gently patted into the skin for added hydration. Always follow product directions to ensure the best results.

For the best results, cleanse your skin first with your favourite INSKIN.CO cleanser to remove any dirt or oil. Apply the sheet facial mask by smoothing over the face. Leave the skin mask on for the recommended time, then massage in the remaining serum, followed by your INSKIN.CO hydrator to seal in the benefits.
